Works on Paper -

 

In the 1980s, I worked with pastel on paper in order to fashion complete works, many of which were exhibited at major regional shows.

 

Since then, I have used drawings as studies for paintings and slowly came to realize that many of them stood on their own. I occasionally use charcoal and graphite, but I remain attached to soft pastel, due to its malleability. As I grow older, I return often to drawing, to the captivating character of line, to the energy that passes from hand to paper in a single stroke.
